Find 6 Test 6 खोजो परीक्षण
The Find 6 Test is kind 4b of the Power of Observation Test, Test 4 of the RRB ALP CBAT. In the hall it runs 75 questions against one Time Left clock of 4 minutes. Each question shows four groups of digits, A, B, C and D. You find the group that holds a 6. If a 6 sits in more than one group, the answer is E. What it measures is a hunting eye: one digit picked out of a crowd, row after row, without a pause.
The rows come 25 to a part, each with four groups of digits and five options, A to E. You sweep the groups once, click the right letter and drop to the next row. Save & Next opens the next part. Below: the screen flow, two example rows from the RDSO guideline, a sweeping method and the mistakes that lose rows. A 7-day plan closes the page. The Find 6 practice papers on this portal run on the hall's count and clock. One Full Mock is free after login.
The hall's own count and clock, as the RDSO guideline (ALPs Guidelines CBT, Jan 2020) gives them. Five options, A to E; click the group with the 6, or E if more than one has it.

How the test runs on screenस्क्रीन पर कैसे चलता है
- 1
Instruction screen
The test opens with instructions in Hindi and English and practice rows with their answers. On the portal this screen lasts 5 minutes at most; Skip Instruction starts the clock sooner.
- 2
The rows of digit groups
The questions come in rows, 25 to a part. Each row has four groups of digits, A, B, C and D, then five options, A to E. All 75 questions share one Time Left clock of 4 minutes; no part has a clock of its own.
- 3
Sweep and mark
Sweep A, B, C and D once, left to right. Click the letter of the group with the 6, or E when two or more groups hold one.
- 4
Save & Next
Save & Next opens the next part of 25; three parts make the 75 questions.
- 5
Submit and T-Score
After the third part press Submit; if Time Left reaches zero first, the test submits itself. The portal then shows your T-Score and a review that marks the correct letter on every row.

- A 1354931582 B 2943587138 C 7823945125 D 4793268251
The guideline's answers for these first two rows are C and D. Across its twenty practice rows, E is the answer three times.
The method: how to attempt a questionतरीका
- 1
Hold the shape of 6 in your eye
Fix one shape in mind before you start: a closed loop at the bottom with a tail rising from its left. Do not read the groups as numbers. Let the eye look only for that shape.
- 2
Sweep all four groups in one pass
Run the eye along A, then B, then C, then D, to the last digit of each. When a 6 appears, hold its letter in mind and keep going. A second 6 in another group turns the answer into E.
- 3
Click and leave the row
One 6 after the full sweep: click that letter. A 6 in two or more groups: click E. Click once, drop to the next row and do not look back.
- 4
Keep one even pace
75 questions in 4 minutes is just over 3 seconds a row. Sweep, click, next. A steady pace reaches the third part; a stop-start one leaves rows blank.
5 tips that raise the scoreसुझाव
1.Know the four lookalikes
At speed an 8, a 9, a zero and a 5 all pretend to be a 6. An 8 has two loops. A 9 carries its loop at the top. A zero has no tail; a 5 has a flat top. Only a 6 has one closed loop at the bottom and a tail.
2.The first 6 is a candidate, not the answer
The E rule means a 6 in A settles nothing. Finish the sweep through D, then click. The review on the portal shows every E row you cut short.
3.Read each group to its last digit
In both example rows the 6 is the sixth digit of its group. A sweep that stops after four or five digits never sees it. Run the eye to the end of every group.
4.Keep the pointer at the options
The eye sweeps the groups; the hand waits at the options, so the click costs no time. After each click move one row down, never back across the screen.
5.Practise on a laptop or desktop
The portal works on a phone too, but the exam hall is a desktop screen with a mouse. Sit every practice paper and Full Mock on a laptop or desktop, so the screen, the mouse and the pace are the ones you will meet on the day.
Mistakes that cost marksगलतियाँ
- Clicking the first group with a 6 and never sweeping the rest, so an E row is lost.
- Taking a 9 or an 8 for a 6 as the eye rushes; a 6 keeps its loop at the bottom.
- Saying the digits of a group in your head like a phone number, which is slower than looking for one shape.
- Clicking E on a hunch because the groups look long, without a second 6 actually seen.
- Reaching the third part with seconds left and freezing, when a quick letter on each row still earns marks.
A 7-day plan for the Find 6 Test7 दिन की योजना
| Day | What to do |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | Point at the 6 in each example row on this page, then sit one Find 6 paper on a laptop without worrying about the clock. |
| Day 2 | Study the review of Day 1. Mark each lost row as a missed 6, a lookalike taken for a 6, or an E you cut short. |
| Day 3 | Shape day: one paper where you say loop below before every row and sweep every group to its last digit. |
| Day 4 | E day: one paper where you refuse to click before D on every row, even when A shows a 6 at once. |
| Day 5 | Two papers back to back at the hall's pace, then the free Full Mock on a laptop with all five tests. |
| Day 6 | From the Full Mock scorecard, note the Test 4 T-Score. Use a second attempt on your weakest Find 6 paper; the higher T-Score counts. |
| Day 7 | One Find 6 paper and one Find 9 paper, so either digit feels normal. Then stop; target T-Score 60, pass bar 42. |
Questions students askसवाल-जवाब
▸How many questions does the Find 6 Test have, and how much time is there?
75 questions, 4 minutes, one Time Left clock: that is the RDSO guideline's setting, and the portal's papers keep it. Just over 3 seconds a row leaves no time to read a group twice.
▸What does E mean in the Find 6 Test?
E means the 6 sits in more than one of the four groups. Click E only after you have seen a 6 in two groups with your own eyes. A long group is not a reason.
▸What happens if no group has a 6?
In the guideline's practice rows every question has a 6 in at least one group. If you reach the end of D with no 6 seen, you have most likely missed one. Sweep that row once more.
▸Did the last RRB ALP exam give the Find 6 Test?
No. The institute's records show that in the last exam (CEN 01/2024) Test 4 came as the Figure Placement Test. That settles nothing for the next exam, which may give Find 6; prepare all four kinds. For CEN 01/2025 the railway's mock link gives the Figure Placement Test again.
▸What is the difference between the Find 6 Test and the Find 9 Test?
The format is the same: four groups of digits, one target digit, E for more than one, 75 questions in 4 minutes. Only the target changes, and with it the lookalikes. A 9 carries its loop at the top, so a 6 is its closest twin.
▸How many digits does each group have in the Find 6 Test?
In the guideline's example the groups have eight digits in the first row and ten in the second. Sweep each group to its last digit, whatever its length.
▸Is there negative marking in the RRB ALP psycho test?
No. The CBAT has no negative marking. Attempt every question; an unanswered question is a mark lost for certain.
▸What T-Score do I need to pass?
A T-Score of at least 42 in each of the five tests of the CBAT. The portal shows your T-Score on every paper the moment you submit, measured against everyone who sat it.
▸Can I practise on my phone?
Yes, the portal runs on a phone. But the CBAT is taken on a desktop with a mouse, so Kautilya Classes advises every student to sit the practice papers and Full Mocks on a laptop or desktop: the same screen, the same mouse, the same pace as the hall.
▸How do I practise this test on the portal?
Every account gets one free Full Mock after login: all five tests in one sitting with the hall's timing and a scorecard with your T-Score in each test. Practice papers of every kind, with the hall's count and clock, come with a Kautilya Classes package. New students message the team on WhatsApp; Kautilya Classes students get their login from the institute.
